the brooch opens the collection “inner sacrum”. all the pieces (a brooch, a bolo-tie and 3 pendants: blue, with a drop of green and with a drop of purple) are made of dog’s spine bones cut in sections. the inspiration behind are mosaics, stained glass and cloisonne enamel. i developed my own technique of filling the porous tissue of bones’ interior with colorful resin. the result is a smooth surface inviting to touch and explore the translucency of each wearable piece. i decided to preserve anatomical contours of a natural bone to give the jewelry an abstract appearance.
